Gameplay
This video game features rows of rally cars, monster trucks, and a large number of snow and dirt trails. The visual interface, angular camera view and vehicle design of the game have a strong visual resemblance to the MotorStorm video game series.
Although the control is similar to previous Asphalt games, nitro mechanics are different. Typically, there are three "Nitro Segments", and using Extra nitro boosters, the number of segments increases to four. Nitro is perfectly renamed to nitro long. Triple nitro activates all three or four bars at once to increase speed. When the race begins, the vehicle is given 2 nitro segments. Different types of vehicles get increased at different levels based on a particular play style, e.g. Trains get large amounts of nitro from air action, while SUVs do drift to keep their drive.
Mechanics game of the vehicle also affect the game. Lighter vehicles such as buggy and rally cars are generally aerodynamic and will perform air action easily, while heavier vehicles such as trucks and SUVs struggle to do the same task and will also get less impetus as a result.
The infected mode has been brought from Asphalt 8, though with some changes. Compared to Asphalt 8, there are more ways to get infected in Asphalt Xtreme, but infected players start with less infected time. Players can now extend the time of those infected by performing air action and drifting. Also, when the infected timer runs out, the player is not as damaging as Asphalt 8, but loses their Infected status and gets a full Nitro tank.
Car and Location
There are thirty-five licensed cars available initially on Asphalt Xtreme , as well as thirty-one cars added through the update. The cars are divided into five classes and seven categories, and their performance is determined by Rank rating feature, carried from Asphalt 8 . These cars include:
Asphalt Xtreme shows five different locations at launch, as well as seven other locations to add via update. Each location has multiple tracks. Locations available initially were Gobi (Mongolia), Phuket (Thailand), Nile Valley (Egypt), Svalbard (Norway), and Detroit (USA). Locations added through the update are the Alps (Switzerland), Coachella Valley (USA), Nepal (Nepal).
Soundtrack
Just like Asphalt 8 , Asphalt Xtreme features a collection of licensed soundtracks. One of them is "Glitter & amp; Gold" by British singer Barns Courtney.
