Lick Life (also known as just Licker Lick formerly known as Lick Ticking Lizard ) is an American reality television show which came from the spin-off of the All Worked Up series and ran for four seasons on truTV from February 7, 2011, to August 18, 2014. The show follows Ron and Amy Shirley, Bobby Brantley, and the team of proprietors returning them in the suburbs of Raleigh, Wendell, North Carolina, a city that has jurisdiction over Lizard Lick's unrelated territory. The show is known for its storied strife and fierce fighting that occurs during the careful repossence of the vehicle.
It was announced in 2017 that Ronnie Shirley has been approached by British channel Dave to create a TV series based on Lizard Lick Towing for Britain. The series, called Ronnie's Redneck Road Trip , will begin airing in the UK April 14, 2017.
Announced on May 4, 2017 via Lizard Lick Towing Facebook page that reboots Lizard Lick Towing is being produced in May 2017. The new series will be titled Lick Life , the air date is yet to be confirmed. The reboot series will follow the same format but will also add new sections to the event as well. Monty Hobbs has signed a contract to produce Lick Life and guest stars. Lick Life will be 6 episodes that focus on Shirley's life with Hobbs brainstorming their creative adventures.

Lizard Lick Towing and Recovery is a local towing and recovery company owned and operated by Lizard Lick Mayor Pro-tem Ronnie Shirley and his wife, Amy Shirley.
Ron Shirley started Lizard Lick Towing in 1998 with a truck, along with his wife, Amy Shirley. Within 10 years, the company has grown to 15 staff members and a fleet of 20 trucks. Bobby Brantley was Ron's friend and long-time co-worker, who started off as a disgruntled customer after Ron pulled out of his truck, then began work at Lizard Lick to pay off his debt.
Ron and Amy will initially be part of the Swap Wives .
According to Eastern Wake News, the television series began in late August 2008, when the station sent the cameraman down for one filming day and it was all that was required for the contract to be written. Those on the network were only looking for prospects at the time, but after realizing Amy Shirley was not just a lifter, but a mortarist and business associate, they realized there was more color to the image than anticipated. Robyn Hutt, the truTV executive in charge of the event, was quoted by Raleigh News and Observer. "We really fell in love with Lizard Lick". The Shirleys are "dynamic and entertaining characters".
The first television series after Ronnie and his company's operations were All Worked Up . TruTV then developed a completely new event dedicated to Shirley. The show premiered on February 7, 2011. The second season debuted on December 5, 2011. The third season aired on January 21, 2013. The fourth season aired on December 16, 2013. The series was canceled at the end of the fourth season.

Reboot series
It was announced in 2016 that Ronnie and Amy were talking about a new TV series after Lizard Lick Towing was canceled. They announced a new series on Facebook Live but did not reveal much information because of contracts and rules. On May 4, 2017, the couple made another live streaming video of the newly revealed show titled Lick Life . This is Lizard Lick Towing's soft reboot because the new show has the same format as other Lizard Lick staff that pulls and retrieves the car. The series starts filming in April 2016 and is expected to air in the fall of 2017 or early 2018. Air dates are not yet confirmed.
It was also revealed that Big Juicy will also return to the show alongside Ronnie and Amy with new cast members to join. It is unknown whether or not an old player will return to the series.
