Don L. Ipson is an American politician and Republican member of the Representative Council of Utah representing District 75 since January 1, 2009.

Early life and career
Ipson attended Panguitch High School and later earned a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from LDS Business College. Ipson lives in St. George, Utah and is CEO of DATS Trucking.

Political career
- 2008 When District 75 was Republican Representative Stephen H. Urquhart ran for the Utah State Senate and left the seat open, Ipson was elected from four candidates by Republican convention and not opposed for the November 4 election. , won by 10,613 votes.
- 2010 Ipson is unaffected for the June 22, 2010 Republican Party and wins the 2 November 2010 general election with 6,975 votes (83.9%) against Democratic candidate Jerry Howard.
- 2012 Ipson is unaffected for June 26, 2012, Republicans and wins the November 6, 2012 election with 10,299 votes (78.7%) against Democratic candidate Cimarron Chacon and Constitutional candidate Randall Hinton.
- 2014 Ipson is unaffected for the Republican convention and wins the November 4, 2014 election with 4,680 votes (65.5%) against American Independent nominee Nihla Judd and Democratic nominee Cheryl Hawker.
During the 2016 legislative sessions, Ipson served as Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee along with sitting on the House Political Leadership Commission, and Subcommittee on Infrastructure and Public Administration. Ipson also serves on the Water Development Commission of the State.
