Crushed: Live on Crash Lane is an American reality television series produced by NorthSouth Productions for Speed ââChannel. The event was followed by the owner and operator of the O'Hare Towing Service truck crane, with a primary focus on vehicle recovery throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. The event focuses on a heavy O'Hare crane truck, 25-60 tons, recovering on semi-trailer trucks and other large vehicles. The stop speed became available to most American audiences as a self-contained network with its own original program on August 17, 2013, when it was replaced by the public sports network Fox Sport 1.

Premise
Bill and Marci Gratzianna, owner of Towing O'Hare Service, sent in a recording showing O'Hare's operation to the production company only after his wife assured him about the idea of ââthe show. Bill decided to do the show because "it will help his company and give the driver the recognition they deserve."
The first season premiered on July 17, 2008. The second season began on May 21, 2009. The National Geographic Channel began airing Season 1 on February 21, 2009. The second season Wrecked aired as part of Speed's Big Block Range Thursday with Pinks All Out and Jacked .
