Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is a joint-stock company of Penske Corporation, Penske Automotive Group, and Mitsui & amp; Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, the company was founded by Penske Team owner Roger Penske on December 1, 1969. The company serves customers in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia; among its services are full-service commercial truck rental, truck fleet maintenance, truck rental, and used truck sales. The company employs over 26,000 workers worldwide. Brian Hard is president and CEO of the company.
In September 2017, GE sold its last stake in Penske for $ 674 million. 15.5% of the shares were purchased by Penske and Mitsui subsidiaries.

Penske Truck Rental
Penske Truck Rental is a Penske Truck Leasing operation unit with over 2,000 consumer truck rental locations throughout the United States and Canada. Penske leases semi-commercial trucks, straight trucks, and semi-trailers for the freight business. The truck rental fleet has more than 50,000 units. In addition, the business units also rent trucks ranging from 12 feet long to 26 meters long to the consumer to do-it-yourself moves that either local movements or one-way moves.
