Kaz Grala ( GRAW -l? ; was born December 29, 1998) is a professional racing car racing driver from Boston. He currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving a Ford Mustang No. 1. 61 for Fury Race Cars.

Grala started go-kart racing at Boston F1 in Braintree, Massachusetts when she was four years old, and three years later, started competitive racing. When he was ten, he ran Bandoleros, winning the Summer Shootout Championship in 2011. That same year, he won the New York Legendstock and the Massachusetts Bandolero Outlaws championship. In 2012, Grala won 15 races and the Cold Summer Championship at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Legend Car Pro Division.

In 2013, Grala competed in the UARA-Stars Series, becoming the youngest winner in the series history at Hickory Motor Speedway, followed by setting a record as the youngest rider to lead laps at Myrtle Beach 400 at Myrtle Beach Speedway where he finished second Lee Pulliam. In the same year, he was named by Speed ââ51 as Rookie of the Year 2013 from JEGS. The following year, he ran the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, where he became the youngest rider to compete in the International Motor Sports Association. He also joins Turner Scott Motorsports to compete full-time in K & amp; N Pro Series East. At the age of 15, he is the youngest full-time driver in this series. Throughout the year, he competed in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and won at Caraway Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. The following season, he joined Ben Kennedy Racing for a full-time race at K & amp; N Pro Series East.
In 2016, Grala made his World Series Truck debut at Martinsville for GMS Racing, driving a No. Chevrolet. 33. After a strong run, he finished 31 due to a tire failure on lap 93. Grala will get his first top ten career in Dover, finishing the 10th. With Ben Kennedy joining the team, Grala moved to No. 1 truck. 24 to drive seasonal reminders in certain races. He joins the full-time GMS for 2017, driving a No. Chevrolet. 33.
After avoiding all the accidents in Daytona, he won his first race at Daytona International Speedway from the pole, making him the youngest rider to win the NASCAR pole in Daytona and the youngest racer to win the NASCAR race in Daytona (18 years, 1 month and 26 days). It was Grala's first win at NASCAR and basically locked him in place in the Playoffs for the Truck Series in 2017. Grala nearly won at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in September, after leading the closing lap and then in one of the final twists he tapped and spun- turned by Austin Cindric. Grala was knocked out of the playoffs before Round 6 due to an early crash in the cutoff race at Talladega Superspeedway, which eventually resulted in him completing his seventh season in the Truk Series standings.
On November 15, 2017, it was announced that Grala will join JGL Racing on a full-time basis in the Xfinity Series as the winner of the Rookie of Year 2018, 24. Grala came in fourth on her debut in Daytona. However, on May 15, the team shut down No. 24 due to lack of sponsorship. Three days later, Grala announced it would run the next four Xfinity competitions for Fury Race Cars, driving a Mustang No. 2. 61.
Other races
In 2014, Grala ran the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, where he became the youngest rider to compete in the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). In 2016, Grala competed in Daytona's 24 Hour Rolex for Racing Change with former Rolex 24 winners Spencer Pumpelly and Justin Marks, in addition to newcomer Corey Lewis; at the age of 17, Grala was the youngest driver on the field and the youngest driver ever competed in 24 Hours Daytona. The team finished 52 overall and 18 in the GTD class as a result of mid-race accidents.

Personal life
Grala Darius's father is a former sports car racer, competing in 24 Hours of Daytona three times. Grala attended high school at Worcester Academy, graduating in 2017 as Senior. Grala lives in Westborough, Massachusetts but spends time in Mooresville, North Carolina. Grala will attend Georgia Tech, majoring in engineering. Grala is of Polish descent.
