Intermodal (JBI): The JBI segment began operations in 1989 in partnership with former Santa Fe Railway (now the BNSF Railway Company). Basically, JBI uses intermodal services (also known as "container on flatcar") from rail operators for underlying equipment line movement and pickup and delivery ("drayage") for customers at the origin and destination train terminal location. Can directly provide drayage service on the original rail or destination road using a tractor controlled by the company, or they purchase this service from a third party.
Integrated Capacity Solution (ICS): This segment includes full truckloads, dry-van transport using tractors controlled by companies operating on roads and highways. ICS also comes with a special transport service package including Less Truckload (LTL), Cooled, and Flatbed. ICS reported record revenues in 2016 over $ 800 million.
