Toyota Dyna is a medium-duty truck truck for commercial use. In the Japanese market, Dyna is sold alongside its twin called Toyoace. Toyoace is a renaming of Toyopet SKB Truck as a result of the 1956 public competition with 200,000 entries. "Dyna" is a dynamic abbreviation.
Dyna is initially available in Japan only at Diesel Diesel Store , then available at Toyota Store location, while Toyoace twins are available at Toyopet Store i> location. Dyna is also sold as Japanese: Daihatsu Delta âââ ⬠and Hino Dutro .
In Japan, its traditional competitors are Isuzu Elf, Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, and Nissan Atlas.
Former Central Motors produced the Dyna Route Van from April 1957 to June 1967.

The Toyopet Route Truck RK52 is the contributing platform of Dyna. A new Toyota Japan dealer was established to sell Toyoace Toyoace series called the Toyo Toyopet Store, which also introduced a sedan version of this platform called Toyopet Master.

Early Dyna K70 - K160 (1959 -1963)
Toyopet Truck Truck was renamed to Toyota Dyna in April 1959.
K170 (1963-1968)
The original semi-cab over Dyna was replaced by a new model of the K170 series in September 1963, with a sleeker design with four-fold headlamps. The Dyna RK170 also provides a base for the Toyota RK170B Light Bus, and is built on top of the Stout chassis. It also has a 1.9-liter Stout 1.9-liter 80-PS (59-kW) 3R-B engine. The Isuzu Elf was introduced in a diesel version in 1960, a version that proved successful enough to bring Dyna down to second place in sales. Even the new Dyna did not restore Dyna's superiority, until March 1964 J1 diesel engine (2,336 cc, OHV) diesel engine was added to the line. A 2.5-ton long wheelbase version with twin rear wheels is also available (RK175), such as the route van version (glazed minivan).
U10 (1968-1977)

The Dyna platform was converted into the Toyota "U" platform after the merger of Hino Motors in 1966. The engine available for this series is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine model of 5R with 93Ã,Ã PS (68Ã,Ã kW). ), 3.0-liter inline-four B , or a 3.6-liter diesel-line six-liter model H . H diesel produces 95 PS (70 kW) and is only available in truck version three tonnes heavier, which has a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph). B diesel offers 85 PS (63 kW). Three-ton dyna was presented in August 1969. Short trucks (series-10) and long wheelbase (15-series), as well as route vans (minibus) are available. U20/Y20 Series

U20, U30, U40 & amp; U50 Series (1977-1984)
U20 is a four-wheeled truck (chassis code is also used for the Route Van), U30 is a standard Cab Truck with twin rear wheels, while the heavier but U40 and U50 have twin wheels and wider cabin. They mostly use the 3.0-liter Toyota B engine, inline-four diesel.

Y20 - 40 Series (1979-1985)
The new smaller Toyoace with the Y20 chassis was launched in 1979, while Dyna still uses the U-platform. This is the fourth generation Toyoace in Japan. In certain export markets, Toyoace is sold as Dyna, and is offered as single and double cabin trucks.
Dyna Rino Y30 & amp; Y40 Series (1984-2002)
In 1984, Toyota introduced Dyna Rino in Indonesia. The lightweight single-wheel version was built on the Y30 platform, and the twin rear-wheel version was coded Y40. The initial model has round headlights and a 3.4 liter engine 3B and 13B . Facelift model with rectangular headlights, BU powered by 3.7 liter engine 14B . Indonesian market Dyna Rino continued to produce until 2002.

U60 - 90 Series (1984-1994) The first BU series (Dyna 200/300/400, 1984-88) uses quad headlights. 1989 and so on model has rectangular lamp and one door glass door with interior door trim new & amp; other small interior changes. All cabin models have a wide roof vent that is mounted in the center and has 3 windshield wipers. 3.4 liter, 3B, 3.4 liter (direct injected) 13B and diesel engine 3.7 liter 14B with direct injection used in Dyna 200 and Dyna 300, 5-speed gearbox is standard. Dyna 300 is equipped with exhaust brakes. The front, ventilated twin piston disc brakes are optional on the first Dyna 300 series wide taxis. In Portugal, the 3B Dyna 250 (BU84) is locally assembled.

Y50 & amp; 60 Series (1985-1995) The lighter Dynas uses a smaller engine. Salvador Caetano of Portugal collects the LY60 Dyna as 150, using a Toyota 2L engine, a 2446-inline four-diesel diesel.

Starting in 2003, Portuguese-made Dynas entered other European markets - until now only for local consumption.

New to this generation is Hino Dutro, because Toyota has a stake in Hino. In addition to diesel engines, Hybrid is also sold in Japan.
Dyna and its twin Toyoace and Dutro built on U300 platform for Standard Cab, or U400 platform for Wide Cabins. The Dyna Route Van/Dutro Van is Toyota HiAce's standard van body mated to a Dyna/Dutro truck chassis.
Although they are built on the U300 and U400 platforms, for marketing purposes they still use Dyna 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, and 350 which show payload. Dyna 100 is currently available with a 2494 cc common rail turbo D-4D diesel engine that offers 88 PS (65 kW). Dyna 150 is a Dyna truck chassis/cabin version, with twin rear wheels, and an enhanced 102Ã, PS (75 kW) engine, shared with Hilux and Hiace.
This vehicle has emission levels that meet the stringent Euro IV requirements prevailing in Europe in 2005, in Singapore in October 2006 and implemented in Japan in February 2007.
U600 and U800 series (2011-current)
In 2011, The Dyna was released as U600 and U800 series based on second generation Hino Dutro.
In March 2015, Salvador Caetano announced the suspension of Dyna assembly in Portugal, because the truck did not meet Euro 6 emission standards and would not be marketable in the EU. Instead, the V6 petrol version of Land Cruiser enters assembly, intended for sales in Africa. 1664 Dynas is assembled in 2014, with another 355 scheduled for completion by 2015 before the transition is over.
