Klaus forklift driver - First Day at Work (in German Staplerfahrer Klaus - Der erste Arbeitstag ) is a German short film from 2000 on the first day of work Klaus as a forklift driver. This film is a parody of safety film from the 1980s.
The film was written and directed by Stefan Prehn and J̮'̦rg Wagner. Constantine Graudus plays the role of Klaus, and Egon Hoegen is the narrator. This adds to the authenticity of the famous narrator's voice from the road safety film, such as "Der 7. Sinn".
The film soon became famous, thanks a lot for the violent nature of the movie, which fans consider to be funny because of its extreme and obviously fake nature. The film received several awards and was made available on DVD by Anolis Entertainment in 2003, dubbed in English, French and Spanish.

Plot
The film is presented as a safety instruction video for forklift truck drivers and shows the first day of work for a new qualified forklift truck driver, Klaus. The film highlights, in a horrible way, the danger of operating unsafe machines. As the movie progresses, the injuries/deaths become more brutal, starting with things like someone falling from a fork lift after he is lifted incorrectly, and closing with the most cruel: ends with a stray saw that is moved by a broken arm on the floor , reaching and tearing a man who had been cut in half his waist by Klaus's previous accident. A bloody POV shot cut off the guy was shown. The film ended when Klaus was beheaded by a chainsaw and two men were left forklifted fork fork, screaming. The forklift moves toward the sunset when the pricked men continue to scream with chainsaws chasing them. The final theme of "Happyland" was written by French composer Laurent Lombard.
