Quadrasteer is the name of the four-wheel steering system developed by Delphi Corporation while under the ownership of General Motors for use in cars. It was available as an option on full-size GM pickup trucks and 2500 Suburbans for models from 2002 to 2005.
Such a system can be a useful feature for people towing regularly, as it allows one to change their vehicle in a more restrictive space than if they had a regular steering system. It was expensive, adding as much as $ 5,600 initially (then reduced to about $ 2,000 and then $ 1,000 to increase revenue) at the vehicle price. Many people, especially those who towed boats, fifth wheel, or other large equipment found that the system was useful enough to justify the cost.

Mekanika
This system is mainly used in pickup trucks. In the pickup market, utilities, security, and performance are key. At low speed, it turns the opposite direction from the front wheel to a maximum of 15 à °, or 12 à ° in trailer mode, reducing the turning radius by 21%. At higher speeds, the system will rotate the rear wheel slightly toward the front wheels thus increasing stability and control. The rear axle is based on the axle of Dana 60. Vehicles offering upgrades include:
- Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra model
- Chevy Suburban/GMC Yukon XL
