Brazilian businessmen, representatives of Toledo Scale Company since 1940, acquired Toledo do Brasil and, hence, it became a Brazilian company.
2006 - New facilities of Toledo do Brasil
Consolidation of manufacturing, administration, engineering, training, technical support and marketing operations in a new plant in Sao Bernardo do Campo, SP. The built-up area covers 21,500 m2 on a 65,000-m2 property. During the consolidation phase of these operations, lean-manufacturing processes and an integrated SAP-management system were implemented.
2010 - New branches of Toledo do Brasil
Establishment of the organization's own branches in Araçatuba-SP, Rio de Janeiro-RJ and Vitória-ES, bringing the total to 22 branches spread across Brazil staffed with their own sales and service teams.

Toledo do Brasil is an organization with more than 1,800 employees working in a factory in Sao Bernardo do Campo, state of São Paulo, in 22 branches located in major cities across the country and in resident service teams in the most outlying regions. The direct sales service is performed by a team of more than 100 professionals responsible for hardware and software solutions plus over 450 Toledo's technicians to provide services.
Toledo do Brasil also has a network of hundreds of authorized technical assistance offices and over 2,000 dealers and sales representatives nationwide.
Toledo's Solutions
Hardware
Toledo's solutions include over one hundred weighing products for a wide array of static or dynamic applications measuring from tenths of a milligram to hundreds of tons. The main products to highlight include truck ou rail scales, bulk loading, bag filling and packaging, floor scales, bench scales, animal weighing scales, lab balances, retail weighing scales e body weight scales.
Software
These products can be integrated through dedicated software and many of them are capable of communicating with ERPs in industrial areas and distribution centers, thus enabling information management and process automation.
Services
The services department is staffed by 500 Toledo's technicians and equipped with 450 cars, 41 calibration trucks, 30,000 different items in stock, 1 million kilograms of standard weights and 1 scale and mass calibration laboratory integrated with the Brazilian Calibration Network (RBC). More than 80,000 hours/year are dedicated to train the technical service team so as to build their skills to perform any sort of installation, calibration, maintenance, updating and technical support job.
Markets and Segments
The main markets supplied are agribusiness, industry, commerce, laboratory and education. The highlights in these markets are alcohol and sugar, grains, fruits, livestock, logistics, mining, metallurgy, automobile, chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, slaughterhouses, food, wholesale, retail, laboratories and universities.
Research and Development
Investments are constantly made in human capital and technology-related infrastructure both for Research & Development and Manufacturing Processes. In 2014, investments exceeded R$16 million and accounted for 4% of the net income. The engineering team is composed of approximately 100 engineers and technicians working with hardware, software, electricity, mechanics and quality. Logistics and Engineering-support software is used for the analysis and optimization of designs and processes. The testing methodologies employed target numbers higher than those required under the law and standards.

Toledo's Quality Management System meets the requirements of NBR ISO 9001, NBR ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and NBR ISO/IEC 17025 and is certified by Bureau Veritas Certification. The certified system includes the headquarters (Sao Bernardo do Campo - SP) and all branch offices. Toledo's Calibration Laboratory is integrated with the Brazilian Network of Calibration - RBC with regard to the order of magnitude "mass". It is certified by Inmetro to carry out calibration of standard weight and measurement of a variety of masses from 1 mg up to 2,000 kg in Toledo's own premises and calibration of scales up to 200,000 kg at the customers' facilities.
